Schumacher Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is a wine with character – full-bodied with a warm ending. Following two days’ cold soak and skin maceration, the wine matures in 350 l and 225 l barriques for 12 months. It has an aging potential of up to 15 years. The aroma is gentle,cranberry, vanilla, with notes of black cherry. The tannins are soft and round and the wine has a pleasingly long finish. This wine pairs well with lighter dishes such as chicken and fish but also some fuller flavoured foods, such as duck breast, tuna, risotto with mushrooms and smoked salmon.
