Schumacher No.1 Cuve Red

55.00

A subtle and elegant blend of Cabernet SauvignonMerlot and Cabernet Franc that focuses on clear varietal aromas and minerality, in which the soils of Brda are best reflected. Its aroma recalls ripe candied oranges as well as sour cherry and plum jam. The wine has also a herbal character of peppermint, black pepper and Mediterranean spice. Its aroma develops into a fusion of vanilla, cacao, dark chocolate and deeply colored wholegrain bread crust. The mouthfeel is full, somewhat sweet and balanced. The aftertaste is long and sophisticated with a velvety finish.

Fermentation and maturation: 225-litres oak barrels for 24 months, hand-picked.
