Maison De Lozey is an independent family business whose winemaking roots date back to the end of the 19th century. It was in 1900 that Raymond Cheurlin – grandfather of Philippe, the current owner – decided to create his own brand of champagne. The family home is in the village of Celles-sur-Ource, a village which takes its name from the Ource river, one of the many waterways that criss-cross Aube, the southernmost region of Champagne
