A champagne as rosy in taste as in appearance
Bold, brimming with fruit and sweet flavors, deceptively subtle in appearance, our rosé deserves your attention.
You don’t need a specific occasion to drink champagne. Add charm to any time like a summer picnic or a girls movie night. You’ll enjoy it even better when you’re having fun with your friends.
The word of the oenologist
Its sustained brick pink color and the fine bubbles of this wine betray a beautiful origin: a real maceration of red grapes.
On the nose, the aromas of blueberries, strawberries and licorice-menthol complement the quince paste and sugar cake to complete the pleasure of tasting. The palate is very structured, and powerful, with a solid, yet refined finish, and well-balanced dosage and acidity.
To make our Rosé de Saignée we macerate the grapes as for a red wine, but drain the juice before it darkens on contact with the skins.
If nature determines the intensity of the color which varies according to the years from deep pink to pale pink, the aromas always remain rich and fragrant.
Tasting suggestion
Tasting recommendations: aperitif, world cuisine, desserts, shellfish seafood, fish, French specialties, white meats, red meats, poultry.
If there is one champagne that conceals marvelous aromas, it is our fruity rosé. Its intense and sweet notes of cherry and strawberry, enhanced by a hint of currant, will superbly accompany both sweet and savory.
