Nuits Saint Georges “Vieilles Vignes” 2022

Original price was: €53.00.Current price is: €45.00.

The almost 9 hectare Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux is energetically managed by Philippe Chezeaux, married to Claire Chevillon, now the fifth generation since 1887. Philippe’s talent for wine growing and vinification translates into beautiful, elegant red Burgundy. Philippe obtains the grapes for the municipality appellation Nuits-Saint-Georges from four different plots, located on both sides of the Meuzin valley that penetrates the Côtes de Nuits here from the higher hills. This means a predominantly loamy soil type mixed with large and small stones. The Pinot Noir develops a fine structure and a lot of aroma on such soils. Philippe’s craftsmanship ensures that these characteristics are very recognizable in his wine.
