The wine
Prestigious and rare, the Clos des Lunes “Lune d’Or” is the result of Olivier Bernard’s ambition to produce one of the greatest wines in the world. Made from a meticulous manual selection of grapes from very old vines, this Bordeaux Dry White wine with great ageing potential is the ultimate expression of purity and complexity.
Winemaking and ageing
Manual harvest in crates by successive selections according to ripeness. Slow pneumatic pressing. No destemming or maceration. Natural settling by gravity in a cold room with regular stirring of the lees. The wine is aged for 12 to 15 months in barrels.
Blend
Sémillon (70%)
Sauvignon Blanc (30%).
