Appearance and Aroma
The wine shows a deep ruby-red color with clear brilliance. On the nose, it reveals aromas of dark cherries, spices, and subtle hints of dried herbs. Notes from oak aging include touches of vanilla and toasted wood.
Taste and Structure
On the palate, Boschetto Vecchio is smooth yet structured. It balances lively acidity with polished tannins. Consequently, the finish is long and satisfying. This wine offers rich fruit flavors that linger well.
Oak Aging and Packaging
The wine spent around 14 months maturing in oak barrels, about 30% of which were new oak. This process adds elegance without overpowering the natural character. The bottle comes presented in an elegant wooden box, perfect for collectors or gifting.
