TASTING
An intense ruby color, this wine has an intense aroma of ripe black fruit accompanied by notes of chocolate and spices. Full-bodied and enduring, it is balanced on the palate and invites a long, harmonious and spicy finish.
HARVEST YEAR
Winter was warmer and drier than usual, while spring was hot and wet. Flowering occurred at the end of May. During summer, temperatures were higher than normal and there was little rainfall. The harvest started in early September.
WINEMAKING
This wine was produced from a fantastic selection of grapes with optimal levels of phenolic maturation. After gentle destemming and crushing, the grapes passed to stainless steel tanks where fermentation took place. During fermentation, gentle maceration occurred at controlled temperatures to preserve the natural aromatic elements of the grapes. After fermentation, maceration continued in contact with the grape skins for several days.
STORE
Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
SERVE
Serve at between 16 – 18ºC in medium or large wine glasses.
