The White Oak AKASHI Blended Whisky is a typical Japanese blend.
30% malted barley and 70% grain are used for this whisky.
The maturation lasts at least five years; three years in Hogsheads and two years in white oak casks.
Tasting notes:
Colour: gold.
Nose: Smooth, sweet, powerful, fruity, malt, honey, hints of sherry.
Taste: Sweet, soft, creamy, notes of peaches, almonds, grapes, hints of malt, ginger and oak.
Finish: Long lasting, dry, spicy.
