Brothers Pascal and Laurent Borgeot, the fourth generation, manage the family estate, founded in 1903. The estate is located in the village of Remigny in the Saône-et-Loire department, a few kilometers from Chassagne-Montrachet and even closer to Santenay, where the brothers own several significant plots. They currently cultivate a respectable 23 hectares of vineyards, divided equally between white and red wines
Hand harvested, sorted then de-stemmed. Around a week of cold maceration before fermentation in open top steel vats at up to 32C with twice daily pigeage. Matured in barrel (30% new) for 12 months.
Deep cherry fruit, rhubarb and smoky notes combine in this medium bodied wine, with juicy acidity and fine tannins.
