VARIETIES: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc.
TOTAL PRODUCTION: 9,600 bottles, of which 3,900 go on the market in a first edition of Avgvstvs Antigues Reserves 1999. The rest will remain aging in our cellar.
WINEMAKING Elaborated each variety separately and after a long maceration, almost 4 weeks in total, it was allowed to stabilize naturally, taking advantage of the cold winter. In May 2000 it entered French oak barrels for the 2nd year until December of the same year. After making the final blend, it returns to the barrels until the beginning of September 2001 (in total it will have been in barrels for 16 months).
